A BILL to amend article five, chapter twenty of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section twenty, relating to providing a year-round twenty percent reduction in use fees at all state parks and facilities for residents of West Virginia.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That article five, chapter twenty of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section twenty, to read as follows:


ARTICLE 5. PARKS AND RECREATION.
§20-5-20. Discounts for West Virginia residents.

The director shall provide to adult West Virginia citizens who do not otherwise qualify for discounts under the provisions of section eighteen or nineteen of this article, and who document residency and age by a valid West Virginia driver's license, a twenty percent reduction in use fees at all state parks and facilities to be used exclusively by the eligible resident.
The director shall propose legislative rules in accordance with article three, chapter twenty-nine-a of this code prescribing forth the documentation necessary to prove eligibility.


NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to provide a year-round twenty percent reduction in use fees at state parks and facilities for state residents.
