AN ACT to extend the time for the Board of Education of Preston County to meet as a levying body for the purpose of presenting to the voters of Preston County an election on the question of enacting a special levy for school funding from between the seventh and twenty-eighth days of March and the third Tuesday in April until the ninth day of May, two thousand five .

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
PRESTON COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD MEETING AS LEVYING BODY EXTENDED.
§1. Extending time for the Preston County School Board to meet as levying body for an election enacting a special levy for school funding.

Notwithstanding the provision of article eight, chapter eleven of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, the Board of Education of Preston County, West Virginia, is hereby authorized to extend the time for its meeting as a levying body, setting the levy rate and certifying its actions to the State Tax Commissioner from between the seventh and twenty-eighth days of March and the third Tuesday in April
until the ninth day of May, two thousand five, for the purpose of submitting to the voters of Preston County the question of enacting a special levy for school funding.
