AN ACT to amend and reenact §29-18-4a of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to supervision of the West Virginia State Rail Authority by Secretary of the Department of Transportation pursuant to law; and removing range of amounts from which salary is set for executive director of authority.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 18. WEST VIRGINIA STATE RAIL AUTHORITY.

§29-18-4a. Supervision of West Virginia State Rail Authority; executive director’s compensation.

The West Virginia State Rail Authority is under the supervision of the Secretary of the Department of Transportation pursuant to the provisions of §5F-1-1 of this code. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this code to the contrary, the salary of the Executive Director of the State Rail Authority shall be set by the authority.
