A BILL to repeal §21-5-7 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to a prime contractor’s responsibility for wages and benefits.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


§21-5-7.  Prime contractor’s responsibility for wages and benefits.

[Repealed].

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to repeal Code, §21-5-7 requiring a prime contractor to be responsible for wages and benefits owed by subcontractor, under certain circumstances.
