A BILL to amend and reenact §20-2-35 of the Code of West Virginia,1931, as amended, relating to the beginning and expiration of hunting and fishing licenses.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


ARTICLE 2. WILDLIFE RESOURCES.


§20-2-35. Period during which license valid.

Licenses and permits provided by this chapter shall be are valid for a year starting with, and lasting through, the last day of the calendar year month in which the licensee was born for which they are issued unless otherwise provided by law.


 

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to change the beginning and expiration of hunting and fishing licenses from the last day of the calendar year for which they were issued to the last day of the month the licensee was born.
