A BILL to amend §64-9 of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §1, relating to authorizing the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology to promulgate a legislative rule relating to speech-language pathology and audiology assistants.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That §64-9 of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §1, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND BOARDS TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.

§64-9-1. Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

The legislative rule filed in the state register on the ninth day of August, two thousand four, under the authority of section ten, article thirty-two, chapter thirty, of this code, modified by the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology to meet the objections of the legislative rule-making review committee and refiled in the state register on the thirteenth day of December, two thousand four, relating to the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (speech-language pathology and audiology assistants, 29 CSR 2), is authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Assistants.
