A BILL to amend and reenact article 9, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Racing Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to simulcast pari-mutual wagering at an authorized gaming facility in a historic hotel.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

    That article 9, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:

ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF TAX AND REVENUE TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.

§64-9-1. Racing Commission.

    The legislative rule filed in the State Register on the thirteenth day of September, two thousand eleven, authorized under the authority of section twelve-d, article twenty-three, chapter nineteen, of this code, relating to the Racing Commission (simulcast pari-mutual wagering at an authorized gaming facility in a historic hotel, 178 CSR 7), is authorized.

 

    NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Racing Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Simulcast Pari-Mutual Wagering at an Authorized Gaming Facility in a Historic Hotel.
