A BILL to repeal §14-2-2 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to venue for certain suits and actions in claims due and against the state.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

§1. Repeal of section relating to venue for certain suits and actions in claims due and against the state.

    §14-2-2 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, is hereby repealed.

 

 

    NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to repeal §14-2-2 that determines venue for certain suits and actions in claims due and against the state to be only in Kanawha County.
