A BILL to amend and reenact §64-6-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the State Fire Marshal to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the regulation of fireworks and related explosive materials.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


That §64-6-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:

ARTICLE 6. Authorization for Department of military affairs and public safety to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-6-1. State Fire Marshal.


The legislative rule filed in the State Register on August 26, 2016, authorized under the authority of section eight, article three-e, chapter twenty-nine of this code, modified by the State Fire Marshal to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on December 21, 2016, relating to the State Fire Marshal (Regulation of Fireworks and Related Explosive Materials, 103 CSR 04), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the State Fire Marshal to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the Regulation of Fireworks and Related Explosive Materials.
