A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Board of Social Work Examiners to promulgate a legislative rule relating to continuing education for social workers and providers.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


That §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:

ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. Board of Social Work Examiners.


The legislative rule filed in the State Register on August 26, 2016, authorized under the authority of section six, article thirty, chapter thirty of this code, modified by the Board of Social Work Examiners to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on September 27, 2016, relating to the Board of Social Work Examiners (Continuing Education for Social Workers and Providers, 25 CSR 05), is authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of Social Work Examiners to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Continuing Education for Social Workers and Providers.
