A BILL to repeal §11-1-5 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to removing certain officials from office for misconduct or neglect of official duties.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 1. SUPERVISION.

§1. Repeal of section relating to removing county officials from office for misconduct or negligence.

            §11-1-5 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, is hereby repealed.

            NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to repeal §11-1-5 of the West Virginia Code, providing for the removal from office of certain officials for misconduct or neglect of official duties.
