A BILL to amend and reenact article 6, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the State Police to promulgate a legislative rule relating to State Police professional standards investigations, employee rights, early identification system, psychological assessment and progressive discipline.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article 6, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 6. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF MILITARY AFFAIRS AND
PUBLIC SAFETY TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-6-1. State Police.
The legislative rule filed in the state register on the twenty-fourth day of August, two thousand four, under the authority of section twenty-five, article two, chapter fifteen, of this code, modified by the State Police to meet the objections of the legislative rule-making review committee and refiled in the state register on the twenty-eighth day of January, two thousand five, relating to the State Police (State Police professional standards investigations, employee rights, early identification system, psychological assessment and progressive discipline, 81 CSR 10), is authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the State Police to promulgate a legislative rule relating to State Police Professional Standards Investigations, Employee Rights, Early Identification System, Psychological Assessment and Progressive Discipline.
