Recognizing the dedicated public service of Rose Springer, chief word processor of the Senate and distinguished West Virginian.

Whereas, Rose Springer was born June 12, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Dominick and Beatrice (Monaco) Sibillano; and
Whereas, Rose Springer began her service to the Senate as a per diem magnetic card operator. She advanced to the position of word process operator in 1986 and chief word process operator in 1987; and
Whereas, Rose Springer is married to her beloved husband, Robert Donald Springer. She is the mother of one son, Robert D. Springer, Jr., and two daughters, Janice Rose (Springer) Dunaway and Michele Ann (Springer) Frail. She is also the proud grandmother of two granddaughters, Haley Nichol Springer and Kaitlin Christine Springer; and
Whereas, Rose Springer has decided to retire from public service on June 30, 1996, bringing to an end her fourteen years of dedicated service to the Senate; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby extends its heartfelt appreciation to Rose Springer for her many years of dedicated service to the Senate. Her commitment to the Senate, together with her knowledge and expertise of the legislative process has, over her fourteen years of dedicated service, been an inspiration to those who have known and worked with her; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to Rose Springer.
