This bill amends the Code pertaining to elections by adding a new section on braille ballots for the blind. The bill requires the secretary of state to propose legislative rules for the development, distribution and use of braille templates for election ballots. The bill also provides that persons who wish to vote by braille ballot must notify the county clerk within sixty days before the election.
