SIXTY-SECOND DAY

[Mr. Speaker, Mr. Thompson, in the Chair]



The House of Delegates met at 4:30 p.m., and was called to order by the Honorable Richard Thompson, Speaker.
Prayer was offered and the House was led in recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.
The roll being called (Roll No. 527), and 81 members having answered to their names, the Speaker declared the presence of a quorum.
The Clerk proceeded to read the Journal of Sunday, March 9, 2008, being the first order of business, when the further reading thereof was dispensed with and the same approved.
Messages from the Senate

A message from the Senate, by
The Clerk of the Senate, announced that the Senate had agree to the appointment of a Committee of Conference of six from each house on the disagreeing votes of the two houses as to
Com. Sub. for S. B. 150, Budget bill.
The message further announced that the President of the Senate had appointed as conferees on the part of the Senate the following:
Senators Helmick, Plymale, Prezioso, Bowman, Facemyer and Guills .
Leaves of Absence

At the request of Delegate DeLong, and by unanimous consent, leaves of absence for the day were granted Delegates Border, Cann, Doyle, Ellem, Fleischauer, Frederick, Hutchins, Long, Manchin, Marshall, Michael, Miley, Pethtel, Schadler, Shook, Staggers, Stalnaker, Stemple and Varner.
At 4:38 p.m., the House of Delegates adjourned until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2008.
