Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):

Information Services & Communications (IS&C) could develop a standard package providing the HTML piece, the application which would meet the specific requirements in the Legislation, and a maintenance component that would allow the agency to update the information for approximately $15,000. This template and its cost could be shared among the boards and commissions.
Small boards would not be required to buy servers but instead their applications could be hosted on the IS&C server farm.
For those boards that want their web site customized or if they want more features, they would be billed at IS&C’s standard programming rate which is $60.00 per hour.

The programming required to build this web site template with the functionality described in the Legislation will cost approximately $15,000 using IS&C’s web programmers. We have estimated $2,250 for the annual maintenance/troubleshooting for the web site.
If boards want a more detailed data base or if they want additional functionality beyond that described in this Legislation, we would provide them with an estimate of the cost before beginning the work.
