Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.


General Revenue impact would be $6,730,891. We currently do not have the funds to cover this additional cost and would need our General Revenue Increased in order for this to take place Calculations are based on 2,311.75 FTE's receiving a $2,008 pay raise ($4,641,994) and Estimated Benefits @ 45% (2,088,897). These calculations are based on the effective date being 7/1/15 (FY 2016).

Memorandum


Special Revenue impact on WV Prison Correctional Industries ($113,552) 39 FTE's - receiving a $2,008 pay raise ($78,312) and estimated benfits @ 45% ($35,240). THese FTE's were not included in the original amounts above and would have minimal fiscal impact to the Division of Corrections
