Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
There is no anticipated cost or cost savings associated with the proposed legislation. The proposed legislation states that "all purchases by county boards of education made after July 1, 2015 , may be made through the regional education service agency." This language permits the counties to utilize the RESAs for purchasing services but does not require it.
