Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
New schools that are built by today's standards already provide privacy walls or partitions in restrooms and many older schools also have such walls. The estimated cost to provide privacy walls in all remaining schools is $367,426, which would be a cost that would have to be borne by the county boards. The estimated cost would be $183,713 if the county boards completed the work with their own maintenance staffs.
