Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
This legislation moves the West Virginia Health Information Network to a private nonprofit corporation. The Network is funded by Special Revenue (WV Code §16-29G-4) and transfers all encumbered funds to the new corporation. It is anticipated there will be no funds remaining in the Special Revenue account at December 31, 2017 and there will be no impact to the State.
This fiscal note for HB 2068, Amendment #1, replaces the prior fiscal note submitted.
