The purpose of this bill is to allow for the expungement of the records associated with driving under the influence after completion of the deferral program.
The Division estimates that 4,000 transactions will be generated with each one taking a total of 1 hour to complete. The hourly rate (with benefits) for personnel to complete these transactions is $15.40, producing an annual cost of $61,600. Required programming changes will take an estimated 240 hours at $51.50 per hour for a cost of $12,360.
