Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
This bill would have no cost to the State as the West Virginia Department of Education has staff that can review and approve the proposed applications. There may be a cost to counties who may have to hire an additional staff member to track alternative credit opportunities, should interest and implementation reach a certain level; however, calculating that cost would be depenent on factors that are not yet avaialble.
