Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
Please explain increases and decreases in personal services, current expenses, repairs and alterations, assets, other costs and revenues, including assumptions and data sources and delineation between start-up and ongoing costs. Please also include a long-range schedule of costs and revenues if fiscal impact is expected to vary in future years.
The estimated cost is based on the following considerations and assumptions:
- The average annual number of high school students enrolling in public higher education institution in West Virginia over the last 3 academic years.
- The average number of courses taken per academic year (2.5 courses per student per year).
- Courses are three credit hours
Future costs will be determined after the pilot program is executed but should be in the same range as provided.
