The Military Funeral Honor Guard program, established by the Adjutant General, to render professional military funeral honors, in accordance with service tradition, to West Virginia eligible veterans when requested by an authorized family member. The name of the program established by this section shall be known as the Hershel "Woody" Williams State Military Funeral Honor Guard.
State funding is needed to establish this new Program and fund the military personnel performing the duties, purchase necessary supplies to conduct the professional miliary funeral honors, and administrative costs.

Please explain increases and decreases in personal services, current expenses, repairs and alterations, assets, other costs and revenues, including assumptions and data sources and delineation between start-up and ongoing costs. Please also include a long-range schedule of costs and revenues if fiscal impact is expected to vary in future years.
The Adjutant General will need state funding to cover the cost of military personnel performing the military funeral honors and administrative costs. State funding is also needed to procure any uniforms, arms, equipment, vehicles, and supplies necessary in furtherance of this program. The uniforms, arms, and equipment for performance duties shall be those prescribed by applicable federal laws and regulations. Finally, state funding is needed to make payments to Veteran Service Organizations when they are used to provide services at funerals.
