Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to allow the development of a specialized intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Although this bill could result in a facility that could place some current Department patients into the new facility, those beds would easily and quickly be filled. Therefore, there is no anticipated fiscal impact on the Department of Health Facilities
