Memorandum

When reviewing the bill this Felony Offense is currently not on the books, therefore we cannot give an accurate amount of monies it would cost the agency should this be enacted. We do not track inmates currently incarcerated that may have been involved in a similar offense but the new one in the bill isn't an existing offense. For every inmate incarcerated, our figures estimate it cost Approximately $40500.00 per year to house. That figure factors food, clothing, medical etc.
