Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to include postpartum depression, anxiety, psychosis, and obsessive-compulsive disorders in existing public health programs.
The Department's Bureau for Medical Services would be operating in an advisory capacity to the Department of Health's Bureau for Public Health.
The Department anticipates this can be absorbed by existing staff (1 staff devoting approximately 4 hours per month) or additional policy language.
The Department will be able to complete the work, but may have to deprioritize other work.
