The purpose of this bill is to establish the food waste task force.
The cost to the department would be minimal for the participation in task force activities. Any employee time for scheduling and attending meetings and completing task force activities would be covered under current regulatory responsibilities and existing staff.

Policies will need to be developed for the Food Waste Task Force membership, which can be performed by existing staff.
Memorandum
There appears to be a technical flaw at 16-67-1 (g). This is in code under the Department of Health, but section indicates the Department of Human Services shall provide staff support to the task force.
