Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
The use of 80 teachers to review standards and objectives for 12 meetings replicates the process used in developing Next Generation Content Standards. These meetings target four content areas (20 teachers per content area) - English/language arts,  mathematics, science and social studies. The cost represents approximately $1520 per teacher per meeting
The separate  Town Hall Forums will cost approximately $50,000
