Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to authorize the West Virginia Board of Optometry to promulgate a legislative rule relating to eyelid procedures. The new rule will permit optometrists to perform expanded services related to eyelid procedures. Although this could expand the availability of providers permitted to perform these services, PEIA does not believe there would be a fiscal impact to the plan as these are already covered services.
