Memorandum
Senate Bill 535, if enacted, would remove the expiration date of July 1, 2023 for the rebuttable presumption for leukemia, lymphoma or multiple myeloma arising from employment as a firefighter.
SB 535 will have no fiscal impact on the Offices of the Insurance Commissioner.
SB 535 may have a future impact on the worker's compensation rates of entities that employ firefighters.
