SB454 does not require legislation. West Virginia Division of Highways (DOH)can complete this task voluntary. Currently, the West Virginia Department of Transportation/Division of Highways maintains such an existing website at www.wv511.org that is maintained regularly by Division of Highways staff to inform motorists of existing road conditions, traffic tie-ups, construction work locations, and even truck parking stations. As far as offline viewing of maps are concerned, General County Maps in pdf format are available for download at no cost at www.transportation.wv.gov. These maps provide the location of all routes within the Division of Highways roadway transportation network.
