Summarize in a clear and concise manner what impact this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government. SB510 extends the Adopt-A-Street program to include unimproved public roads and authorize volunteer improvements to the roadway or road surface. This new program requires participants to work with municipalities in registering, improving, disposing of collected waste, and reporting. Municipalities will also provide the tools necessary to program participants. DEP will not incur any expenditures from this bill.
