The purpose of this bill is to require an agreement concerning subsidized adoption be required to provide for direct payment by the Department of Health and Human Resources the attorney’s fees of the adoptive parent.
This Legislation has no fiscal impact on the Department.
The Department already makes direct payments to attorneys or clients.
