The purpose of this bill is to allow for trucks up to 10,000lbs to be registered as antique vehicles when no longer used for commercial purposes. The bill further states “including vehicles up to and exceeding 10,000 lbs”. The Division will incur costs of approximately $900 ($90 per hr. for 10 hours) for programming the mainframe. The Division estimates that, based upon the percentage of class A vehicles which have an antique plate (1.59%), 532 additional vehicles will qualify for the antique plate.
