Decreases Existing Revenue
Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The revenue loss to the agency from the elimination of the $0.50 elections fee attached to every drivers license would be offset from existing revenues for other special revenue from business services within the WVSOS administration. The original purpose of the fund's expenditures has diminished with the implementation of an electronic transfer of records between the DMV, WVSOS and county clerks.
