Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to amend WV Code §33-4-24 to require policyholders to be notified when controlled substances are prescribed to beneficiaries under their policies. PEIA is exempt from Article 4 of Chapter 33, and accordingly, there will be no fiscal impact to PEIA if the proposed bill is passed.

Memorandum
