The purpose of House Bill 2201 is to prohibit an insurer from declining or limiting coverage on a person under any life insurance policy, major medical coverage policy, disability insurance policy, or long-term care insurance policy solely due to the status of that person as a living organ donor.
House Bill 2201, if enacted, would have no fiscal impact on the Offices of the Insurance Commissioner.

House Bill 2201, if enacted, is to prohibit an insurer from declining or limiting coverage on a person under any life insurance policy, major medical coverage policy, disability insurance policy, or long-term care insurance policy solely due to the status of that person as a living organ donor.
House Bill 2201 would have no fiscal impact on the operations, expenses, or revenues of the Offices of the Insurance Commissioner.
