Fiscal Note Summary

Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.

HB 3090 would repeal article 19-2C that relates to the licensing and practice of auctioneers in the state. Revenues related to the licensing of Auctioneers are estimated to average $40,000 annually. While the administration of article 19-2C would be eliminated, staff currently administering the program would be utilized elsewhere in the Department resulting in no net cost savings to the state, except for a de minimis amount associated with printing and mailing license renewals.
