Summarize in a clear and concise manner what impact this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government. This proposed bill requires suicide prevention resources be printed on student identification cards at any school that issues identification cards for students in grades 6 to 12 in public schools and for students in a public or private institution of higher education. The amendment clarifies what information is required to be printed on identification cards within one year of reenactment. No additional appropriations are expected to be required for institutions to comply with this proposed legislation.
