Currently, additional college credits are paid by the individual educator or provided without cost to the educator by the counties as part of professional development; therefore, the provisions of this bill do not have any fiscal impact on the WVDE. However, this would also mean that there is not any requirement for our teachers to stay up to date on the latest educational research, tools and practices.
