This bill increases the number of magistrates by one, from 159 to 160. This would also require the addition of a Magistrate Assistant. The increase in personal services (including payroll taxes and benefits) would be $151,941 (Magistrate $85,496 + Magistrate Assistant $66,445). The increase in current expenses reflects the purchase of computer, printer/scanner, office supplies, and travel costs for conferences.
