The purpose of this bill is to mandate the West Virginia State Police and other agencies develop and implement an area cost-of-living salary adjustment program by no later than July 1, 2025. There are minimal costs associated with the development of this program, however, the implementation is estimated to have significant fiscal impact. This can be estimated once the salary adjustment policy is developed.
