Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose fo this bill is to authorize a Class G vanity license plate for honorably discharged veterans and his or her spouse. An annual fee of $15 is to be charged for every registration plate issued according to this subsection.
The Division has been paying $5.45 for veteran motorcycle license plates, plus $5 for administration costs. The cost to issue this special vanity plate is $10.45.
Net revenue for this plate will be $4.55 per year.
