Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.


The purpose of the proposed Senate Bill 57 is to transfer all interest in real property to a co-owner who paid all taxes on such real property for a minimum of five years. The proposed bill adds a subsection (c) which adds the necessary language to provide for the transfer of the property rights and how such transfers shall occur.

We are unable to identify and quantify any additional costs to the State through the proposed enactment of the provisions of Senate Bill 57. Likewise, we are also unable to identify and quantify any additional revenues to the State which may generated by the enactment of proposed Senate Bill 57.
