Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
As a result of SB322 passage, the DOH does not anticipate incurring any additional costs nor does the DOH anticipate the need to hire additional staff in order to work within the parameters set forth by this bill. This bill has the potential to create a win-win scenario by providing the DOH with the opportunity to greatly strengthen and grow its workforce while operating within all applicable state and federal laws.
