No increase in costs are foreseen as long as current secondary vocational funding line item allocations is not decreased within the state budget.



Memorandum


The West Virginia Department of Education has an existing line item for Vocational Education in the state's general revenue budget. The ability to offer Applied Associate Degrees at secondary vocational education centers in West Virginia does not require additional funding to implement the initiative.
