Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The legislation will most certainly result in efficiencies, and perhaps cost savings to state spending units that make purchases overseen by the Purchasing Division.
The Department of Administration expects some increased efficiency in procurement, however cost savings would be hard to quantify for the Department of Administration and it's 15 sub-agencies.
The Purchasing Division would have more relevant data on other efficiencies as a result of the legislation.
