Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
While we believe the potential adoption of the proposed Bill would act to reduce local governmental tax collections related to the Hotel Occupancy Tax, we do not have access to sufficient records that would allow us to reliably estimate the fiscal impacts of the Bill with regard to specific locales or on a State-wide Basis. Specifically, we do not know the number of overnight stays which are typically provided on a complimentary basis by lodging facilities around the State on an annual basis.
