Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):


If this bill passes and the cost for accessible parking were eliminated, it would decrease parking revenue annually by $14,160. This represents the Capitol Complex only (which is managed by the Department of Administration). The Department of Administration has no way of estimating state property accessible parking revenue outside of the Capitol Complex. There are many other state buildings where fees are charged for parking, such as higher education institutions and other lots located across the state.
